**The Role**
Make a difference in our community
The Conservation Officer (Interpretation and Engagement) will implement a range actions and programs from the Sustainable Environment Strategy that enhance Council’s conservation reserves. This includes signage, interpretive materials and digital communications that elevate the importance of local biodiversity. The role delivers and supports existing community engagement activities to raise awareness of local biodiversity with a spectrum of stakeholders, with scope for continuous improvement and innovation of new ideas and programs.

**About you**
We are seeking a passionate individual with a background in natural resource management able to work collaboratively in a small team environment. You have experience facilitating engagement events and activities, sharing your passion for the environment with community stakeholders. You are a clear and concise communicator looking to take the next step in project managing important environmental projects.
