Our client, Department of Transport and Main Roads is responsible for planning, managing and delivering Queensland's integrated transport environment to achieve sustainable transport solutions for road, rail, air and sea.

**About The Opportunity**

The purpose of this position is to manage the current and upcoming project within the Tunnel System and Bus Facilities Team to ensure the successful, funding, creation, and delivery of Projects to the Principal Engineers requirements.. Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Intelligent Transport Systems - Providing support to the Project Mangaers and Engineers of the Busways infrastructure team in the realm of technology integration.
- Project Management - Managing project constraints to ensure delivery to agreed customer expectations within TMR's 3PCM system.
- Reporting and overseeing the Tunnel Systems & Bus Facilities raft of projects.
- Co-ordinate work activities of the design team, RPEQ certification of designs and conducting design review of large externally developed design schemes
- This role will promote and contribute to a safe, healthy and sustainable workforce
- Administer projects in accordance with TMR's OnQ System and to ensure efficient delivery.
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders internal and external to the organisation to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Project manage design and construction projects to agreed constraints
- Support for the Principal Engineer of Tunnel Systems as required
