Job Title: Senior Project Manager

This is a permanent, full-time position that reports to the Operations Manager and is located at the Sunshine Coast at the Corbould Park depot.

Road Tek is a commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads, providing transport infrastructure solutions for projects across Queensland.

We are a multi-disciplined organisation with accreditation to national and international standards, valuing respect, safety, diversity, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program manage the delivery of multiple civil infrastructure projects through technical expertise, project management experience, and contract administration.
  • Ensure effective coordination of key operational activities and resources associated with project management of a program of complex projects.
  • Use technical knowledge, expertise, and leadership to coordinate all relevant activities to ensure successful delivery of projects within time, quality, cost, and other project targets.
  • Prepare and manage tenders and estimates to support the business unit in achieving its organisational goals.
  • Ensure all operational system procedures are adhered to in order to facilitate the delivery of projects to a high and consistent standard for both Transport and Main Roads and other clients.
Requirements:
  • A Washington Accord accredited four-year degree in Civil Engineering or equivalence recognised by Engineers Australia.
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) is mandatory for permanent appointment to the position.
  • A Diploma in Project Management.
  • A current, valid Queensland 'C' class driver's licence or equivalent.
