Nowra, Australia Shoalhaven City Council Full time

Salary: $64,246 - $72,210 p.a. plus 11% Super
- Fixed-Term, 8-month Contract
- Access to Councils Variable Working Hours

**About the role**
This is an **8**-month**, **fixed term, full-time **position working **35 hours** per week (Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm) to September 2024 and will be based at **Nowra Administration Building, Bridge Rd Nowra**.

**Duties**
Reporting directly to the Lead - Human Resources, the focus of this position is to:

- Provide high quality customer service to hiring managers and job applicants.
- Provide assistance in the management of the recruitment process in conjunction with the Lead - Human Resources and HR Business Partners
- Provide advice on the recruitment process and administer the e-recruit system including interview scheduling, progression through the recruitment process and unsuccessful notifications.
- Work with HR Business Partner and hiring managers through the recruitment process, contacting hiring managers at different stages of the recruitment process to advise on next steps.
- Arrange medicals and other pre-employment checks as required.
- Keep the e-recruit system up to date with the stages of recruitment.
- Meet regularly with each HR Business Partner and provide status updates of recruitment in their Directorate.

**Skills & Experience**
To be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

- Certificate IV in Human Resources or other relevant/equivalent qualification or relevant work experience
- Proven administration/office support experience in a fast paced, high-volume work environment
- Experience providing excellent customer service.
- Understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity and other relevant legislation
- Understanding of the importance of confidentiality
