**ABOUT THIS ROLE**

As a Delegate Services Assistant at Think Business Events, you are responsible for providing support and assistance to delegates attending our conferences both face to face and virtually. The primary role is to ensure that delegates have a positive and smooth registration experience. Overall, our Delegate Services Assistant plays a crucial role in our Delegate Services Team to ensure that delegates have a seamless and rewarding experience at conferences, supporting them with various tasks and providing assistance throughout the Conference.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assisting delegates with the registration process, verifying their information, processing payments, and providing them with relevant documentation for a portfolio of Think Business Events conferences.
- Maintain accurate delegate records and databases within online registration software
- On-site support: Provide general information desk support for delegate services, including check-in and badge pickup, handling any last-minute registration requests or changes. Interstate travel will be required.
- Performing various general conference administrative duties such as data entry, preparing documents/proof reading, and handling financial transactions related to delegate services.

**CAPABILITIES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- At least two years’ experience in Conference Management, Customer Service, or the Hospitality Industry.
- A passion for customer service.
- Friendly and warm approach to handling customer/client enquiries.
- Be highly motivated, outgoing and energetic with excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and an interest in technology.
- Interest or experience in using and managing database systems.
- High attention to detail, problem solving and lateral thinking skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to manage own work tasks and prioritise and adapt to changing circumstances and work demands.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
Tafe Diploma or equivalent experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
