We have been approached to find a Case Manager with expertise in Commercial Property and Strata Claims to join the team. The position is focused on managing a portfolio of cases, with the aim of achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients.

In order to thrive you will have good knowledge of handling end to end claims focused on commercial property. Previous experience in managing cases involving Commercial Strata is highly desirable.
- Tier 1 preferred, however it can be obtained once employed
- 2 + years of claims consultant experience - strata preferred, otherwise property, landlord, or real estate is fine
- Customer service centric
- Experience collaborating in a team
- Moderate experience in employing decision making and problem solving skills
- Moderate experience in identifying potential issues and escalating them for review
- Some experience interpreting legislation
- Some experience interpreting insurance policies

TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Claims Consultant/technical insurance skills in accordance with the NIBA Code of Conduct,
- RG146 requirements, and industry claims standards including:

- Legislative obligations
- Product knowledge and understanding
- Claims processes
- Literacy in Outlook, Word processing, and digital platforms used in the insurance industry

JOB PURPOSE

Provide specialised claims advice and guidance to clients, fostering long term business relationships
- Manage a portfolio of Strata Claims end to end
- Conduct timely investigations to determine damage
- Provide support and advice to policy holders
- Liaise with both external and internal stakeholders when necessary
- Perform general administration duties as required
