**About the company**
Our client is one of the fastest-growing, exciting and dynamic dealership groups in Australia and New Zealand.

**About the role**
Our client is looking for an assistant parts manager that is capable of achieving goals, solving problems and taking initiative without micromanagement.

**Duties**
- Ensure the phone and counter sales functions are carried out professionally and courteously.
- Follow up on all credit returns to the supplier.
- Advise the Group Parts Manager of any unresolved problems arising on a day-to-day basis with recommended solutions.
- Ensure all internal procedures are followed and completed correctly.
- Any other duties as required by your manager from time to time.
- Receive and process all incoming stock from deliveries.
- Check, inspect and authorise all necessary orders, picking slips, requisitions and purchase orders
- Review stocking levels and action or report as required.

**Skills and experience**
- Computer savvy
- Prior experience in a parts department or a 2IC role.
- Strong communication role
- Outside-the-box thinker
- Action-orientated and motivated
- Someone who empowers their team members to achieve.
