Parts Sales Representative – JOIN A GREAT TEAM

CJD is looking for an Outside Parts Sales Representative to join our successful Brisbane team. This role will see you visiting new and existing customers and providing professional customer service to existing and new customers.

This role will see you working with the Parts Manager and Parts Interpreters in expanding our Part service out to our customers. You'll be required to develop strategies and plans to ensure all our customers receive outstanding Parts Service as you grow the business with your knowledge of Volvo Construction Equipment Parts, the customer's needs and win/win deals.

Being a natural people person, you will easily gain customer satisfaction, and trust, whilst developing lasting relationships as you support our customers with their needs.

A day on the job will see you:

  • Hands-on with the development and execution of a territory sales plan to engage new, existing and welcome back former customer
  • Work closely with the Parts team to achieve sales forecasts, KPIs and goals
  • Proactively assist customers in selecting suitable aftermarket parts and promoting, preparing quotes, and finalising orders within a reasonable time frame.
  • Keep reporting records on customers' requirements, and interactions using CJD's CRM system.
  • Take the lead in customer issues, and resolutions and ensure follow-up occurs to ensure the necessary corrective actions have taken place and positive outcomes achieved for the customer and CJD.
  • Participate in and support Trade shows, Country Field days, commissioning activities, and machine deliveries.
  • Maintain a practical knowledge of innovations, current trends and market competitors.

What you need to get the job done:

  • Australian drivers' licence and the ability to travel to the state to visit customers (tool of trade vehicle provided).
  • A proven track record in a similar role within a hands-on operational environment.
  • Relevant trade certificate – highly beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of Construction Equipment and the parts that make them move
  • VG computing skills and understanding of Microsoft Office,
  • Outstanding communicator both written and verbal,
  • Sharp-as-a-tack negotiation skills. You know how to strike a good deal for the customers, while achieving a win for the business.
  • A demonstrated ability to develop long-term relationships, resulting from your product knowledge and smooth sales style
  • Highly confidential and able to perform cold calls.
