**In this role, you'll**:
The role will see you undertake strategic planning and assessment tasks in relation to Sydney wide or specific transport related re-zoning and land use planning projects to deliver the State transport network and facilitate urban growth. You may also be involved in coordinating and preparing Transport for NSW (TfNSW) responses to planning authorities and private developers for land use planning and development proposals, in accordance with relevant legislation, statutory timeframes, policy and guidelines.
- The role may also involve:
- Undertake land use planning, the assessment of planning proposals and provide planning advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure TfNSW requirements for land use plans, planning proposals and development contributions are understood by the appropriate stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of land use plans, precincts and growth areas to ensure Transport for NSW (TfNSW) objectives are being met

**About you**

You will demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will partner with various internal and external stakeholders to assist in the delivery of land use planning for our customers. We are looking for a strategic thinker, who can adapt quickly and manage competing priorities in a team environment.

The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 7 ($113,121-$126,695) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading. This is temporary hybrid opportunity based in Parramatta (up to 30th June 2026).
