**About the Position**

The Operations Unit is responsible for the management and maintenance of the City’s parks, environments, fleet, street, and waste services. The Waste Management Administration Officer is a critical first point of contact for the Unit, working to assist commercial, residential, and education-focused waste personnel as well as stakeholders that are external to the Unit.

The Waste Management Administration Officer supports the City by:

- Providing advice to internal and external customers on relevant policies and procedures and participating in the ongoing review of systems and procedures to ensure that a high level of service is maintained.
- Responding effectively to customer enquiries and complaints within customer service level targets while maintaining professionalism.
- Scheduling meetings and toolbox meetings, coordinating agendas, and taking minutes.
- Assisting the team with the implementation of actions in the City’s Waste Plan.
- Maintaining nominated operating budgets related to waste and cleaning.
