**Eligibility**

**Division Responsibilities**
The Regulatory Practice and Support Division (RPSD) is part of the Health Products
Regulation Group. The division provides operational regulatory policy advice and specific
support services that ensure efficient, best practice regulatory operations.
**Branch Responsibilities**
The Regulatory Engagement Branch (REB) is responsible for critical corporate services that
support the delivery of better health and wellbeing for all Australians through regulatory
excellence.
**Section Responsibilities**
The Regulatory Education Section develops and implements evidence-based, targeted and
effective communication strategies for consumers, health professionals and industry. By
focusing on the audience needs, the section works with internal and external partners to
develop content, creative and video products that are published through multiple channels
to optimise reach and engagement. The section manages an active social media presence,
as well as the TGA’s proactive media and content distribution, leveraging stakeholder
networks and channels to amplify messaging. The section is also responsible for overarching
brand management, ensuring the TGA’s visual style and communication products position
the TGA as authoritative, trustworthy and helpful.***
**Key Responsibilities**
The Communications Officer will assist in the development and implementation of
communication products and services for consumers, health professionals and industry, in
line with the strategic and operational needs of the Health Products Regulation Group
(HPRG).
The role also coordinates a number of regular internal communication activities under
newsletters and reporting. Key responsibilities - Research and draft content for inclusion in
messaging to meet specific audience needs.

- Research and develop content to populate the monthly proactive social media
schedule in collaboration with social media team members and line areas.***
- Undertake social media listening and reporting on hot topics in line with business
requirements.***
- Under limited direction, coordinate content, approvals, and dissemination of the
Deputy Secretary’s weekly communication - Exec Connect.***
- Deliver content for HPRG internal communication needs including the HPRG weekly,
efficient manner.***
- Research potential multipliers and information sharing partners to identify
opportunities for relationships.***
- Provide content and/or communication support for priority education projects for
delivery through the TGA website or external channels.***
- Provide administrative support for digital advertising campaigns and other projects.***
- Contribute to other team functions as needed.***
