**Governance, Risk & Compliance Officer**

**The role**:
As part of Saab Australia’s Security Operations team, the Governance, Risk & Compliance Officer will take a lead role in connecting security initiatives to compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements, working closely with business, information security, and technology leadership to ensure that Saab’s security program supports business objectives.
- Liaise with Saab’s business units, projects and key stakeholders to act as an interface between business operations and security program management;
- Help to facilitate collaborative working, communication and cross-skilling between Security Operations and Quality Assurance teams;
- Develop and maintain a security risk management program, including the implementation of risk mitigation effort to reduce Saab’s exposure to security risk;
- Monitor compliance with Saab’s Management System requirements, relevant industry and regulatory standards/frameworks;
- Advise and/or alert the CISO on security situations of a critical nature that may impact Saab’s business operations;
- Assist in the establishment, strategic planning, policy, goals and objectives for the implementation of relevant management systems within Saab;
- Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office will be considered for this role._

**About you**:

- Your skills and experience will include:_
- Significant experience within a security role, or equivalent;
- Acknowledged expert in the relevant discipline with recognised broad-based experience
- Extensive knowledge across a broad spectrum of security risk management and mitigation strategies;
- Demonstrated ability in developing, implementing, operating and integrating security frameworks, policies and standards into operational context and provide practical advice based on them;
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills;
A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
