Job Description

We have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team based on the Gold Coast at Burleigh Heads. We're looking for someone who is not just doing 101 AP processing, we want you to challenge the status quo and help us improve

**The role**:
This is an on-site role and we are happy to accommodate an earlier start / later finish to help you balance your important out of work commitments.

**What you’ll do**:
Help drive us forward by:

- Understanding our processes and ideating with the team on how we can improve
- Deeply understanding the costs of the business, and working across the finance team to capture and report on these accurately
- Providing exceptional customer service to our suppliers and internal customers
- Pitching in as part of a small team to provide month end support

As well as the AP basics like:

- Coding and entry of supplier invoices in an accurate and timely manner
- Verifying that invoices are authorised in accordance with process controls
- Reconciling supplier accounts, managing invoice discrepancies, returns and credit notes
- Proof of delivery (POD) collection & tracking of freight services

- You have excellent computer literacy and are comfortable working in MS Excel
- You take ownership of your work and can work autonomously
- You’re a great communicator
- You’ve got an eye for detail
- You are a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude who builds rapport easily.
