Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) is a Queensland Statutory Authority established to regulate the building industry and ensure maintenance of proper building standards and remedies for defective building work.
QBCC also serves to educate, protect and support the community and the Industry via licensing and registers, education, dispute resolution and adjudication, enforcing compliance and managing the Queensland Home Warranty Scheme.

**Your Role**:

The primary purpose as a Customer Service Officer (CSO) is to provide a positive customer experience through the delivery of services including assisting customers with the provision of legislative information and supporting clients through first point of contact in a multi-channel contact centre. Additionally, the role supports offline duties, outbound calls, and social media fulfilment.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Support Contact Centre team and customers by adherence to schedule and meet team and personal KPI's.
- Maintain high level of accuracy of all related documentation such as account creations in QBCC systems.
- Maintain content knowledge of QBCC's information and services; and participate in ongoing review, quality assurance, and regular training.

- Computer skills and familiarity with working on different software and technology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- You must be flexible, hold personal resilience, be adaptable and have a range of transferable administration/customer service skills
- You must be willing to undergo a variety of pre-employment checks: police check, criminal history check and reference checks

**Mandatory requirements**:

- Minimum experience in a Contact Centre environment is highly desirable.
