**Your role**:
Anglicare Victoria delivers the Home Based Care Program provides foster care for children and young people who are temporarily unable to live at home. The Southern Home Base Care program provides Complex, Intensive and General Home Based Care for children and young people aged between 0 and 18 years. Children enter foster care for a number of reasons, most being placed in out of home care following Child Protection intervention and can stay with our carers for as short as one night or for several years.

**How you can be effective in this role**:
Developing, implementing and managing annual marketing campaign strategies

Playing a lead role in the planning and facilitation of information sessions and education sessions including the coordination of pre-service assessment documentation of prospective foster carers

Participating in the recruitment, marketing training and assessment of prospective Home Base Carer’s, including preparation of written assessment reports with recommendations as appropriate and provide assessment reports to the Carer Review and Accreditation Panel

Establishing, maintaining and working within a collaborative care team approach with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Working within a collaborative care team approach with relevant internal and external stakeholders, including Child Protection to promote best practice outcomes for children, young people and families.

Supporting active and on-hold Foster Carers, which includes supervisory practices.

**Qualifications required**:
Diploma of Community Services, Youth Services or similar.

Full Victorian Drivers Licence.
