**About the Role**

TAFE Gippsland is seeking a highly accomplished and experienced leader to join our Educational Delivery team in this key role. The Program Manager is responsible for the leadership of staff within the Agriculture & Animal Sciences teams, and for driving continuous improvements to ensure training is of the highest quality and student attendance, retention and achievement are maximised. Reporting to the Head of Department Construction & Rural Sciences, the Program Manager is responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of current Agriculture & Animal Sciences course offerings and for the implementation and growth of new course opportunities.

As an Educational Leader, a Program Manager introduces contemporary and innovative approaches to teaching and assessment including blended learning choices and supporting the introduction of digital technologies and use a collaborative approach to improve learning outcomes. They have a professional vision and a plan, they empower educators to create collaborative, inclusive learning environments. A Program Manager uses data to inform decisions and manage resources, they are highly driven, enthusiastic and have exceptional interpersonal skills, and they are passionate about their local community and dedicated to the creation of a skilled and thriving Gippsland. Some travel across Campuses will be required.

A six-month probation period applies to this position.

**Your Experience and Qualifications**

You have a Certificate IV TAE40116 (or equivalent) and a minimum AQF5 level teaching qualification (desirable), along with substantial teaching experience. You have extensive industry experience in the vocational areas being delivered and assessed, along with the knowledge and ability to advise, interpret and translate relevant framework and regulation requirements. You have specialist knowledge and skills in the development and coordination of training programs, resources and curriculum.

All TAFE Gippsland staff require a current Drivers Licence, employee Working with Children Clearance and satisfactory National Police Check & Current Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate (2 doses).
