Description
- Drive the defined product area through the entire customer lifecycle, including, but not limited to, lead generation, customer qualification, solution development and deployment, and post-sales support. Responsible for business development, sales coordination, training, and support specific to the product/solution sales process. As an integral part of the sales process, it provides technical capabilities analyses, competitive analyses, and other technical data necessary to help position the product and convert a sale. The position will also be responsible for consulting and supporting medical professionals in effectively using our products and solutions.

Responsibilities
- Develop and Drive the Business to meet the Order Intake (OIT) and Sales Budgets, focusing on Brachytherapy and Neurosurgery product range..
- Support the Sales team, including Account Managers and any Distribution channels in the Sales Process.
- Develop a local strategy and supporting tools to meet sales targets.
- Attend exhibitions and Trade shows as required to support the Elekta Products as required to fulfill total business objectives.
- Attend specialist training related to Product Developments and New Release and cascade that training to the Sales Team.
- Liaise closely with the Clinical Applications Specialists to ensure that local requirements for product enhancement are reported to the development team in the respective Business Area (BA)
- Assists Sales team with a targeted account list, sales, backlog and other forecasts to actively promote, present and demonstrate company products to
- Assists the Sales team and follows relationship-selling, partnering and managing of accounts
- Calls on/establish relationships with resource referrals (hospitals, clinics, physicians, etc.)
- Reviews sales forecasts with the company’s management and, where appropriate, revise
- Achieves unit sales of the products outlined in the sales quota, targets or forecasts. Maintain a market-installed base listing using appropriate company-provided tools
- Demonstrates products and solutions and assists in the selection of those best suited to customer’s needs when required to support the customer in the use of these products and solutions
- Familiarizes established accounts with new products, services and developments (market penetration).
- Develops/maintains close professional working relationships with sales, finance, field service, technical services, marketing and administration, assists when requested to support these functions
- Prepare and implement price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates and service obligations in accordance with company policies.
- Follows sales and marketing policies and procedures regarding processing customer orders and delivery of quotations and products to customers, using appropriate company tools
- Assist the Sales and Marketing Director to train new hires on product knowledge and manage their progress.
- Submits monthly reports detailing activities, sales, volumes and expenses.
- Investigates policies and notifies the company of competitive products, promotional sales selling techniques, pricing, warranties, marketing policies and organization changes.
- Provide feedback to the marketing department as a result of communications with customers.
- Work closely with the Customer Support manager and Order fulfilment manager to understand any resource shortfall and provide technical and clinical training and support as required
- Conducts all business transactions in a manner that upholds the company's high ethical standards.
- Incorporates Elekta Values and quality systems into all department functions and responsibilities
- Uses only company forms or contracts unless approved in writing in advance by the company.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by Sales and Marketing Director or Managing Director.

Authorities
- Authorization of quotations, orders etc., within the authorization matrix
- Prepare and manage local forecasts and plans
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action

Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies
- Educated to degree standard with evidence of continued personal development during career history.
- Extensive sales/marketing experience gained within a business-to-business environment arena focused on maximizing existing client spend.
- Exposure to a consultative solutions selling approach.
