**With their continued growth, this global leader is seeking a proven sales professional to join their team.**
**The role will involve**:
- Generating qualified sales leads for day-to-day business and projects in an account management capacity.
- Managing the department's P&L for the State.
- Devising, managing and delivering customer action plans for sustainable long-term business growth and profitability.
- Deliver effective presentations to customers and provide customised solutions for current and new products.
- Identify and understand customer requirements and translate into customer value.
- Support the preparation of specifications and tenders.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and formulate market and competitor intelligence.
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships and influence customers at all levels.
**As a results-driven sales professional, you will possess**:
- Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering computer science, software engineering or a business discipline is preferred but not essential
- At least 10 years' experience in business development and account management and a successful track record of growth and business development in industrial automation sales.
- Proven track record in developing long-term relationships with your customers at multiple levels
- Demonstrated success as a software solutions consultant at the C-suite level.
- Strong desire to train and enable sales professionals to embrace and use solution selling approaches that compel end customers to adopt and implement software to solve more strategic, comprehensive, mission-critical business problems.
- Desire and ability to lead, advise, coach and mentor sales professionals through a process of hands-on training and real world "joint" selling.
- Technical acumen to interface with technologists, understand complex concepts and translate in a way that businesses or industry can understand.
- Strong demonstrated oral presentation and written communication skills.
