**About the Role**

Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for improving the culture of health and wellbeing across Sunwater. You will support Sunwater employees through targeted health and wellbeing programs to prevent injury, as well as assisting injured workers and their return to work.

Other responsibilities include:

- Developing and implementing key initiatives with respective to mental and physical health and wellbeing.
- Ensuring Sunwater’s rehabilitation and return to work framework is effectively implemented and continuously improved
- Managing service provider contracts and delivery support / responses associated with outsourced health, wellbeing, and injury management services
- Managing workers’ compensation reporting and governance processes, including the analysis of incident and injury data
- Working closely with senior managers and business stakeholders; providing advice, management support and clear direction to facilitate achievement of specific health and wellbeing strategies

**About you**:
Sunwater are looking for an individual who is passionate about improving the health & wellbeing of our people. You will have strong understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Legislation and Work Cover, along with experience in planning, implementing and evaluating health and wellbeing activities and programs.

Other key requirements include:

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Qualification in either occupational health and safety, allied health, nursing or related experience
- Rehabilitation and return to work accreditation
- Experience utilising high quality interpersonal skills including listening, negotiating and influencing
- Experience in workplace rehabilitation and return to work practices
- Ability to develop and implement programs (i.e., budgeting, communication of rollouts etc.)
- Experience in coordinating and facilitating mental health first aid training
- Experience liaising and building productive working relationships with a variety of medical, allied health professionals and contractors to collaborate and create positive occupational health outcomes
