Your team:
The role of the Group’s Health, Safety and Wellbeing team is to support the Group’s commitment to fulfilling corporate and legal health, safety and wellbeing responsibilities by implementing and maintaining systems and processes to provide a safe and healthy place of work.

You will be responsible for:

- Assisting with the delivery of the Group’s health, safety and wellbeing strategy to all business units
- Assisting the WHS Coordinator/s with incident triage and management that flow through via Pega and Noggin
- Conduct safety investigations with assistance from the HSW Senior Consultants (as required) to ascertain root cause into serious incidents, including those incidents that result in a lost time injury
- Review monthly safety data to help the team identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation strategies
- Ongoing management of safety related programs and initiatives across the Group including First Aid and HSR’s
- Engage and consult with BU’s to help drive improvements in health and safety performance to ensure they have full visibility of HS&W issues within their business
- Collaboratively work with other areas of the broader HS&W Team to ensure a seamless connection between HS&W project development and the delivery to the businesses
- Draft health and safety risk and research reports, training presentations and incident investigations as required
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by your Manager that can be competently and safely performed and are within your capability and expertise.
- Occasional travel may be required as part of this role

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- 1-3 years WHS experience in a similar role, ideally within the financial sector
- A strong analytical background, with the ability to review and analyse data
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Most importantly, adaptability and flexibility.
- Adhere to the Group's Code of Conduct, which sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.
