**About the role**

As Theatre Services Coordinator you will be part of the Ipswich Civic Centre team and will be responsible for coordination of the Front of House operations and Box Office teams. Your main focus will be on delivery of services related to coordinating our theatre audiences.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate the day-to-day front-of-house and box office operations for theatre and communiuty performances at the Civic Centre, Studion 188, and other Council facilities, being the primary lead for service delivery
- Work closely with the Programming team to deliver efficient and effective services and performance coordination in the operation of the Ipswich Civic Centre, Studio188 and Council facilities, as agreed within contractual agreements
- Plan and coordinate Front of House for theatre performances including chair change, room set-up, cleaning, ushering, box office, ticketing, Stars Bar and Dining, stock, and equipment requirements
- Deliver on administrative requirements in relation to budgeting, procurement, event costing, stock control and other Council requirements to maximise efficiencies.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- An excellent fit with our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership
- Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in theatre Front-of-House management
- Completion of the:

- Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RLMV) Program
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Program
- Food Safety Supervisor course
- 5 years of experience as a front-of-house management in a theatre or performing arts centre
- Have a passion for theatre and performing arts

This is a permanent full time role, Level 5 with a salary package commencing at $90,018 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
