**St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital is seeking experienced Theatre Orderlies to join our dynamic, supportive team**

**The Opportunity**

There are multiple permanent part-time and casual opportunities for enthusiastic and energetic individuals with a strong customer focus to fill the roles of Orderlies in our growing theatre department.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Working with and assisting clinical staff
- Cleaning and waste removal
- Ensuring theatres are set up for surgical procedures and equipment has been checked
- Transporting patients between wards

**Your Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated experience as a Theatre Orderly essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effective within a team environment and independently
- Be available for a range of shifts across a 7-day rotating roster
- A strong willingness to learn and develop a working knowledge of hospital procedures
- Motivated and positive with a high level of attention to detail.

**Remuneration**

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from **$24.50 - $30.15 **(plus casual loading of 23% where applicable), plus penalty and overtime rates, superannuation, dependent on qualifications and experience.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19, **a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation

- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
