As our Creative Port Placemaking Officer, you’ll help grow the arts ecology of the City of PAE, create vibrant places and spaces, and build a thriving sense of community. The role:

- Develops, implements and evaluates programs, initiatives and activations associated with the Creative Port Plan
- Builds, develops and maintains strong relationships with community, businesses and internal and external stakeholders, including creative practitioners, arts organisations and government agencies
- Works with stakeholders and the community to increase the volume and sustainability of arts and culture-based experiences
- Develops and delivers marketing campaigns that support the growth of the City of PAE as a destination for arts and culture, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Follows a project management methodology, budgeting and planning tools to deliver successful program outcomes
- Provides advice and support to enable community-led placemaking
- Assists with building the capacity of businesses and community to successfully activate great spaces

- Experience in creative placemaking, activation delivery, and arts and cultural development, with a focus on creative and strategic outcomes
- Proven experience in the development, delivery and coordination of projects and initiatives
- An understanding of digital marketing campaigns
- Positive attitude, willingness to work in a team environment and enjoy a multi-faceted role
- Outstanding interpersonal skills that build good work relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience with contributing to budget processes and operating within budget constraints
- Passionate about making a genuine difference to your team and community
- Innovative thinking and courage to try new ideas

This is a Level 4 full time permanent position that has a current salary range of $89,099.06 - $95,649.42 (plus Super).
