We currently have an exciting role for you to join our Placemaking & Activation Team.

The City of Port Adelaide Enfield’s Placemaking & Activation team delivers a wide range of activations across the city which build community, attract people to the region, stimulate economic development, and support the objectives of the City’s Placemaking Model and Activation Principles. We love what we do, and we need a Place Activation Coordinator who can:

- Lead, produce and deliver placemaking and activation projects and initiatives, including large scale and/or multi-faceted Council led events
- Provides event and activation knowledge, guidance and coaching to increase the professionalism and delivery of events across Council teams and the community
- Promote and assess placemaking & activation grants and support grantees to deliver successful projects
- Prepare contracts, agreements, permits and reports as required

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Minimum of five years’ experience in a senior events/activation role
- Innovative thinking and courage to try new ideas
- Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders to deliver projects and programs with creative and strategic outcomes
- Comprehensive knowledge of the changing landscape of festivals and events - including trends, participation, and funding arrangements
- Positive attitude, willingness to work in a team environment and enjoy a multi-faceted role
- Outstanding interpersonal skills that build good work relationships
- Passionate about making a genuine difference to your team and community

This is a Level 5 position which has a current salary range of $93,189.80 to $97,398.18 (plus Super).
