**Role Overview**:
The Pottery Studio Regional Events Manager plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the events schedule across our three studios in Sydney. This role requires a blend of creativity, organization, and customer service excellence, ensuring that each event is a memorable experience for our guests. You will be the linchpin in managing customer interactions, coordinating with creative talent, and ensuring the smooth operation of our studios' event calendars.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Event Management**: Oversee the end-to-end management of the studio events schedule, including ideation, planning, and execution of workshops, courses, and private events.
- **Talent Coordination**: Source and book creative talent for studio events, ensuring a diverse and engaging lineup of artists and instructors.
- **Customer Liaison**: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and bookings with the utmost professionalism and care.
- **Rostering**: Manage the rostering of workshop staff across all locations, including virtual event facilitation.
- **Community Building**: Play a key role in nurturing the studio community, fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration.
- **Operational Excellence**: Collaborate with studio managers to ensure operational efficiency, from class occupancy management to inventory control.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years in a pottery studio or ceramics-related role, with international experience highly desirable.
- **Knowledge**: Deep understanding of ceramics and pottery techniques via hand on experience in a pottery studio.
- **Education**: Degree qualification preferred, with a focus on business, technology or events related fields.
- **Languages**: Fluency in multiple languages is highly sought after as our customer, clients and talent tend to be from a wide array of backgrounds.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Comfortable with modern communication tools (e.g., Slack, Google Docs + Sheets, event ticketing systems, modern social media like Instagram, Tik Tok etc).
- **Travel**: Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for travel between studio locations.
- **Soft Skills**: Exceptional organizational abilities, creativity, and a customer-first mindset.

**Working Arrangement**:
This position requires a flexible working arrangement, including spending one day per week at each studio location and the option for remote work. You will have a direct impact on hiring decisions for new studio hosts and will work closely with studio managers to ensure the highest standards of service and creativity are maintained.
