House Manager

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
We are seeking a seasoned House Manager with a track record of supervising a group of support workers in a complex, high-support home (SIL). Someone who can unite people and maintain the positive atmosphere this home has fostered. We are looking for a capable, seasoned leader who is proactive, and resilient, thrives in demanding environments, and has strong communication skills.
**Residential Management**
- Oversee the daily operations of the NDIS-funded residential homes.
- Ensure that residents with disability have a safe, welcoming, comfortable, and secure living environment.
- Oversee and manage each resident’s individualized care plan.
- Take charge and uphold the home’s safety and cleanliness.
- Supervising a maintenance plan for the house including risks and hazards.
**Staff Management**
- Coordinate the hiring of support workers and caregivers.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the staff member.
- Resolve any staffing concerns or requirements.
- Review staff performance and highlight the same to supervisors.
- Facilitating morning briefing sessions and handovers throughout the day.
**Client Support**
- Undertake a person-centered strategy to help residents maximize their independence.
- Work in cooperation with third-party and allied health services.
- Encourage the clients to work towards their goals.
- React quickly and take reasonable actions to assist the client in an emergency.
- Ensure the resident is receiving the right kind of care hourly and daily.
**Financial Management**
- Ensure cost-effective operations while upholding a high standard of care.
- Manage the house budget including expenses and reimbursement of receipts from other care workers when spent, also doing weekly reporting.
**Compliance & Documentation**
- Adhere to all NDIS rules, code of conduct, guidelines, and protocols.
- Keep thorough records of incidents, resident care details, reports, and notes.
- Contribute during audits related to the residential home as and when needed.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
