Due to continued growth we are currently assisting our client in their search for a Warehouse Team Leader - Dispatch. The company, a national and well established, stable business provide goods to various business across Australia, operating as 3PL

They are looking for someone to join them, as the Warehouse Team Leader at their state of the art Warehouse near Melton / Wyndham area.

**The role**

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this is a hands on role, leading a small team of people (6) in this modern warehouse, operating a voice pick system.

As the Warehouse Supervisor/ Team Leader your role will include:

- Oversee the daily warehousing activities and pick team
- Managing workloads and ensure goods incoming and outgoing are processed efficiently and on time
- Motivate and lead a team of dedicated and friendly warehouse staff to ensure pick KPI's are met
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the warehouse functions
- Ensure compliance to OHS procedures
- Stock checks, managing damaged stock and receipting of goods
- Prepare products for dispatch
- Customer Service as and when required
- Updating the inhouse computer system

**Applicant requirements**

We are looking for someone with the following:

- Someone with previous supervisory experience is essential
- Background managing rosters
- A proven track record working in a warehouse
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous use of voice pick systems is highly advantageous
- A Fork Lift Truck License & proven track record of safe handling
- Working and picking ugly goods in a previous role would be advantageous
- Understanding of inventory and stock control is highly advantageous
- You will be someone with a proven track record as a supervisor (or leading hand looking for your next career move)
- A team player someone who gets on with their colleagues and leads by example
- Good computer and numeracy skills
- Someone capable of leading people and creating a good team culture
- Hands on commitment to get the job done
