**About the role**
We are seeking an Advisor Management Project Readiness to provide operational readiness and project management advice and support to Greater Brockman Operational Readiness team for the study and implementation phase, to deliver successful major projects.
This role is responsible for tactical level of the design and implementation of processes, practices, and tools, based on the Operational Readiness plan to facilitate operational readiness across Greater Brockman Operations.
You’ll be part of a supportive team, supported by your Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll work on either a 5 & 2 roster from Perth or a FIFO roster 5/2 & 4/3 roster with flexible working arrangements which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life.
Reporting to the **Manger Project Readiness and Delivery**, you will:
- Implement and communicate the Operational Readiness (OR) execution plan focused on Operational Readiness project management related aspects, and how the OR plan supports delivery of the project business case to Greater Brockman Operations (GBO).
- Assisting in establishing project control and reporting methodology for OR in line with project controls guidelines.
- Analyse OR costs and create OR cost budgets.
- Pro-actively liaise with stakeholders to identify, communicate and mitigate schedule risks.
- Assist with short
- to mid-term coordination and planning of OR management and leadership.
- Provide support in HSEC by striving for zero harm and demonstrating the Rio Tinto safety culture, especially through improved safety in design and risk reduction.
**What you’ll bring**
- Knowledge of project management (scoping, planning, scheduling, resource planning, and cost estimation) and project site activities and experience as member of a small to medium-sized project’s management team or business improvement management skills with minimum relevant experience of 3yrs
- Capability to write conclusive reports and create documents presenting requirements and developed plans, strategies, and approaches.
- Well-developed people influencing, engagement and communication skills.
- Knowledge of mining, processing, asset management and engineering services process support.
- Understanding of change management and exposure to risk management methodologies.
