We are looking for a passionate and dedicated People & Development professional to join our Sydney office

This role provides the opportunity to be a trusted advisor to the Sydney Partners and staff, overseeing the employee lifecycle and implementing people and culture initiatives. You are empowered to take ownership for People & Development delivery in the office, partnering with senior leaders to drive key office and firm people priorities.

You will manage the day to day needs of the practice groups, including working with practice group leaders and directors on employee engagement initiatives, workforce planning, and talent acquisition. You will manage employee relations issues, escalating complex cases where appropriate, and oversee performance management processes and remuneration initiatives.

Reporting to the Director of People & Development, you will also work closely with a driven, growing P&D team who work collaboratively, and all hold the same passion for people & culture. You will play a key role in identifying and delivering HR strategy to support the firm's strategic plan and growth targets.

**What we are looking for**:

- Minimum 3-years' experience in a HR Business Partner/Advisor role, preferably within a professional services or financial services environment. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Advisor or Junior Manager.
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
- A background and passion for working on talent, capability, leadership, employee engagement and culture.
- A strong communicator with the ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
- A flexible and adaptable approach with the ability to pivot priorities at any given time.
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively with the P&D team to deliver exceptional internal employee experience.
- A pro-active and motivated mindset with an obvious passion for the work you do.
