We have partnered with a one of Australia’s largest building products manufacturer that operates on a global scale. Founded over 80 years ago, the company is continually growing as an industry leader and expanding their tech team.

We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy professional to join the esteemed team their team as a Service Desk Technician. As a Service Desk Technician, you will assume a pivotal role in delivering exceptional day-to-day support and maintenance for the innovative IT environments. Your mission will be to actively engage with employees, fostering seamless communication and interaction. Collaborating closely with the high performing systems engineers, you will make significant contributions to the development of the visionary IT strategic roadmap and spearhead future technology initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Delivering first-level support for IT systems, including hardware and software.
- Installing and configuring new users and hardware.
- Assisting the national team with planning, maintenance, and support for remote sites.
- Providing maintenance, support, and troubleshooting for desktop and server systems, while offering technical support and advice to users.
- Monitor and uphold the performance of computer systems and networks.
- Troubleshoot system and network issues, promptly diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults.
- Provide dedicated on-site technology support in office environments, catering to a wide range of platforms such as PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
- Maintain meticulous IT-related documentation and deliver tailored in-house training as needed.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- 5+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Higher education qualifications in Information Technology (Cert IV, Diploma, Degree).
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle JDE)
- Previous experience in 1st Level Service/Help Desk support.
- Familiarity with ITSM/Service Management systems, preferably ServiceNow.
- Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft stack, including Windows, Active Directory, SQL, Azure, and Office 365.
- Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity practices (ACSC Essential 8), virtualization (VMWare), Azure, Unified Communications (Zoom, Teams), and strong communication, problem-solving, time management, and documentation skills.
- Experience in administering network equipment including LAN/WAN (i.e. HP, Cisco AP, SDWAN);
- Knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure elements (i.e. Azure, Exchange hybrid / Office 365, Teams; SQL, SCCM, Intune etc.);
