The Marketing Manager builds the Brisbane Marketing strategy to drive DFS marketing objectives and support business priorities. They create unique customer experiences and engage customers through all Consumer and Travel Industry Marketing networks, ultimately a key player in building DFS as a Luxury Retail Destination in Brisbane for travellers and locals alike.

**Responsibilities**
- Activate company global marketing calendar and leverage local opportunities to support division business objectives.
- Prioritize and evaluate opportunities in both consumer and travel industry marketing; and to build out a holistic One Marketing calendar for division that drives efficiency and focus.
- Drive Marketing strategies by identifying opportunities, setting targets, allocating budget, and providing clear briefs to local and corporate key stakeholders.
- Maintain good relationship with industry and non-industry partners (Precinct partners, hotels, airlines, tourism board, property management, local media), as well as our corporate stakeholders.
- Digital Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive online and in-store traffic, with a strong emphasis on our website, Instagram, and other relevant digital platforms. Ensure a seamless and consistent brand presence across all channels.
- Channel Optimization: Lead efforts to maximize the performance of our website, Instagram, and other digital touchpoints. Analyse key metrics, manage content and campaigns, and implement data-driven tactics to enhance traffic, customer engagement, conversions, and sales.
- Responsible for developing unforgettable retail activation. Lead the division Marketing team and align with division key stakeholders (store, VM, local merchants) to execute them with world-class standards.
- Analyse business and develop effective mechanism in payment promotions and DFS CIRCLE loyalty promotions to support sales and conversion targets for Operations Team.
- Build division marketing budget plan that ties to global marketing priorities as well as division business objectives. Ensure finance process is following company audit and procurement policies.
- Evaluate campaigns by tracking results, capturing high quality campaign images and videos, identifying learnings and opportunities for future implementation.
- Lead direct reports and effectively communicate clear goals and objectives to achieve objectives and stores targets. Review performance on a regular basis.

**Key Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce. MBA is a plus.

8+ years work experience in consumer-focused marketing area: Fashion, FMCG, Beauty, Retail or Luxury industry.
- Fluency in written & spoken English. Chinese Mandarin ability is highly regarded but not essential.
- Marketing skills - omnichannel, production, copywriting, media planning, partnership development
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and able to deliver results.
- Strong leadership skills, stakeholder management, independent, agile, able to seize opportunities and take action.
- Proficiency in MS Microsoft Office, social media, digital platforms (i.e Yext)
- Presentation skills with comfort and experience in communicating with executive management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret business analysis and translate into marketing initiatives.
- Budget and KPI management
- Experience and comfort in a multicultural environment with regional /multi-location teams is a strong advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Effective listening and influencing skills in a culturally diverse, team-based environment.
- Able to identify, balance and address the interests and priorities of multiple groups of stakeholders.
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail and accuracy
