**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- We are looking to appoint a highly experienced Insurance and Claims Coordinator to be an integral part of the Safety, Wellness and Insurance business unit. The main objectives of the role will be to partner with the organisation to enhance the strategic management of Council’s self-insurance portfolio, and in particular, Council’s engagement with the Civic Risk Mutual network.

**ABOUT YOU.**
- Tertiary Qualifications in Risk Management, Insurance or Business
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Experience in a self-insurance environment
- Budget Management
- Demonstrated experience managing hostile claimants and direct investigators.
- Owner/occupier liability claims, director/officer liability claims, public and professional indemnity claims,
- Vehicle and property damage claims, and other insurance-related claims activity.
