**Your new role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Kindergarten Reform - Transition Project Officer -to join our team. As our new Transition Project Officer, you will undertake and analyse research for the ongoing development and execution of Council’s response to the State Government’s Kindergarten Reform initiative in the City of Knox.

With so many exciting changes arising from the reforms you will embrace challenges as opportunities, allowing creativity and innovation within a high-performing small team, to prepare advice by collecting and analysing service planning data to inform current and future service gaps, including impacts on early years infrastructure planning,

This is a Band 6 classified role, remuneration will be $92,933 - $101,496 pro-rata (pro rata for part time) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

**What you will need to thrive**:
The key selection criteria for this role are:

- Curation of briefings and strategic documents, including service plans and reports to make evidence-based recommendations to Council and Executive Leadership Team on the future of early years’ service provision.
- Sourcing and analysing social, demographic, asset and service data to forecast service demand and service gaps.
- Ability to communicate and engage effectively with a range of people and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability in strategic research, policy interpretation and translation.
