Courtyard by Marriott Brisbane is looking for an Assistant Manager to provide operational support to Front Office Manager and to ensure the smooth operation of the Front Office department. Responsible for all front office functions and associates including Concierge, Switchboard Operations, Guest Services and Front Desk. You will work with managers and associates to successfully execute all front office operations, including guest arrival and departure procedures. You will strive to continually improve guest and associate satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.

**You will be**:

- Leading the Front Office team and ensuring processes are followed.
- Ensuring interactions with our guests are positive, productive and memorable.
- Providing guidance, support, development and coordinating training for team members
- Liaising with all Hotel departments ensuring a seamless operation
- Responsibility for the health and safety of all patrons, guests and team members
- Assisting with the team as required with Front Office duties
- Be the eyes and ears of the hotel in the absence of the management team

**You have**:

- Previous supervisory experience in the Front Office department of a Hotel or Resort.
- A sound understanding of OPERA.
- Working rights in Australia and the ability to work a 7-day rotating roster including early mornings and late evenings.
- Strong communication, personal and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to ‘surprise’ our guests with your natural bright and bubbly customer service style to achieve guest satisfaction
- Proven success in transforming ‘problems’ into solutions
