**Your new role**

As our On-call Support Coordinator, You will be a guardian angel for our carers and care recipients, swooping in to organise emergency respite to ensure no one faces crisis alone. You will be a beacon of hope for our clients, providing unwavering support beyond office hours and into the weekends. From community outreach to in-home assistance and overnight respite, you'll be the reassuring presence they can always count on. Picture this: a fast-paced environment where every call is a chance to make a difference. Your mission? To be the lifeline for those in distress, coordinating urgent service changes and cancellations with precision and care. Your energy and passion will help you create and maintain a dynamic network of service providers to ensure seamless collaboration and maximum impact

**Duties**
- Start your day at 6PM on weekdays
- ** Saturday and Sunday** work starts from 8am-6pm + after 6pm provide after hours on-call support.
- Liaise and coordinate with internal TBS staff to organise the services which haven’t been finalised during office hours.
- Provide coordinated and accountable service delivery including assessment, support planning, monitoring, coaching and evaluation.
- Ensure the support provided to carers and clients is well-informed, accurate and best meets their needs, while ensuring service provision is in line with The Benevolent Society’s practice frameworks, processes and business rules.

**Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications or be enrolled in the area of social work, welfare, related discipline or Certificate IV (or working towards)
- Demonstrated experience in community care and/or community information services.
- Strong commitment to customer service and finding solutions to meet consumer needs
- Understanding of the needs of diverse communities such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD), and gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTIQ+) communities
- Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office
