**Tell me about this role**:
**We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Technical Publications Writers to join our team on a permanent basis. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier.
These roles will be Melbourne based and will play a critical part in delivering the latest in Land capability technology to our Defence Force.
Some of the projects include armoured fighting vehicles, soldier modernisation program, lifecycle management of in-service fleet, deployable health infrastructure and more.

**What will I be doing day to day?**
- Plan, develop, organise, write and edit standard operating procedures and manuals
- Research, develop and write technical design specifications & technical manuals
- Developing written or visual product/process/technical documentation, business process maps, and user manuals
- Manage updates and revisions to technical documents, procedures and manuals
***What sort of skills do I need?**
- Tertiary qualification, certification, vendor course or relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated experience in strong technical authoring skills
- Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
- Strong communication skills
- Process orientated with good attention to detail
- Minimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen)
