**Job Description**:
We are seeking to appoint a Planning Leader/Manager in Victoria. This is a newly created role due to strong organic growth. You will report directly into the State Director and have the backing of a team of over 100 experts nationally. You will be responsible for the growth and strategic direction of our planning team, building our brand in new markets, growing the team and developing strong client relationships. You will be will well connected and known throughout the development industry and have excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Specifically:

- Superior knowledge of planning schemes and relevant legislations within Victoria
- A solid network of relationships with clients in urban development or other sectors and demonstrated skills in leveraging these relationships to maximise business opportunities
- Contribute to sustainable profit generation and growth
- Manage commercial risk and demonstrate responsible judgement
- Recruit, manage, train and mentor staff
- Manage financial targets including budgets, profitability etc

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualifications in town planning
- You will have a high level of commercial acumen, financial management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A commitment to providing high level quality service to clients
