**About Us**: Since 2013, Restaurant Equipment Online (REO) has established a strong presence in the online marketplace, supplying commercial appliances to cafes, restaurants, and catering businesses across Australia. Our well-structured backend logistics and administrative team ensures smooth processing and delivery for every order, while our online sales team handles inquiries via digital channels. Now, we’re expanding into a new frontier: a retail sales space in Melbourne to meet the growing demand for face-to-face sales support.

**About the Role**: We’re looking for an enthusiastic **Part-Time Retail Sales Assistant** to join us in our new retail sales office in Melbourne’s South East Suburbs. This is an exciting opportunity to help build our retail model from the ground up as we explore this new venture. Your role will focus on providing recommendations and solutions for commercial restaurant appliances to walk-in and referred customers, including those with new or existing cafes and restaurants.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist and advise customers on the best commercial appliances for their business, including fridges, freezers, cooking equipment, stainless steel furniture, dishwashers, and more.
- Engage with walk-in clients and sales leads provided through our online marketing efforts.
- Work closely with the company owner for ongoing coaching, training, and performance development as we refine our retail approach.
- Achieve sales targets and earn commissions tied to your performance in addition to a base salary.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Experience in the hospitality, cafe, or restaurant space is highly preferred, particularly if you’re familiar with commercial kitchen equipment.
- Bonus points for experience with equipment financing or funding solutions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a strong aptitude for identifying customer needs and providing effective recommendations.
- Self-motivated and eager to contribute to the success of a new retail environment for a well-established online business.

Pay: $25.38 - $32.45 per hour
