About the role
The Psychology Lead role provides operational, professional, and clinical leadership to the Ipswich Psychology Service (IPS). IPS delivers clinical, health, and neuropsychology services to inpatients and outpatients of Ipswich Hospital and Community Health. As the Psychology Lead in general health services, this position also contributes to psychology leadership across West Moreton Health (the Health Service).

About you
- Advanced clinical expertise in psychology.
- Knowledge of the provision of psychology services in a community health and/or hospital-based service.
- Ability to provide clinical, operational, and professional leadership in the maintenance and development of psychology services.
- Actively contributes to a learning environment through clinical supervision, mentoring, and skill sharing. Identifies opportunities for quality improvement and research, and actively contributes to same.
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and respect for all patients, carers, and staff.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Postgraduate training and/or significant clinical experience in clinical psychology, health psychology, and/or clinical neuropsychology is required for this position. Area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, and/or Clinical Neuropsychology is highly desirable.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
