Chandler Macleod are currently recruiting an Assistant Project Officer for a State Government Agency. Based in Parramatta working a hybrid of Home and Office. Start asap and initial contract to end on 28/06/2024.

Rate: $53.90 P/H + Super

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Officer to join the Portfolio Management Assets Division. In this role, you will undertake analysis, reporting, and administrative activities, and work both individually and collaboratively to support the development and delivery of reports and projects, in line with established project plans and objectives.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have
- Demonstrated ability to support the APC Team with operational and analytical functions in the delivery of various reports and project deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to assist with timely provision of information to internal and external stakeholders ensuring effective delivery of business outcomes. You will have strong prioritisation skills with the ability to complete tasks within tight and competing deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to provide administrative support to the Manager APC and the team in organising meetings, taking minutes, liaising with stakeholders for setting up meetings, creating purchase orders and any other work required by the Manager.
- You will have strong attention to detail skills and an ability to develop understating of Assets Management Systems and SAP, and be able to extract to present information in reports, project briefs, status updates, budgets etc.

Essential Requirements
- Proficient in MS Excel and possess an ability to grasp the workings of Asset Management Systems i.e. HOMES, Ariba and SPM Assets and SAP.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline is preferable and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
