**The opportunity**

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced client service/customer service professional to join the team responsible for identifying and managing complex motor and property insurance recoveries.

The role will involve correctly determining the most appropriate investigations and assessments are conducted on potential recoveries and actions taken to optimise business outcomes and returns.
- Develop, implement and communicate recovery claims strategies to reflect QBE's business development and profit objective
- Development and delivery of a strategic approach to ensure complex motor recoveries are optimised. Including use of lawyers and specialists
- Develop and implement insights to ensure the recovery claims function is aligned to the needs of our customers, partners and the business
- Analyse new complex/high value claims for recovery opportunities
- Manage stakeholder and customer working relationships internal and external to QBE, including brokers and business partners, to optimise outcomes and improve influence, brand & reputation
- Plan, manage, maintain, improve, and review complex and high value claims for potential recovery, including gathering key information and documentation

**Your story so far**
- Professional experience preferably in a client service/insurance/liability/legal or operations-based position
- Sound knowledge of the end-to-end general Insurance business, particularly claims (desirable)
- Must be able to multitask and prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment
- A high degree of influencing skills, partnered with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to operate multiple systems
