**About Our Client**:
Our client, a leading organization in the public sector, is seeking a skilled and motivated Asset Inspector to join their team for a 6-month contract. As a key player in contributing to the community's well-being, our client is committed to delivering excellence in infrastructure and asset management.

**Responsibilities**:
As an Asset Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the integrity of our client's assets. Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting asset inspections, field data capture, and preparing asset-related reports promptly.
- Recording defects and inspection data in the Council's Asset Management and Maintenance System, including issuing work orders for repairs.
- Conducting field audits to assist in resolving customer requests and reporting on the performance of maintenance contracts.
- Administering and updating the Council's Asset Management and Maintenance System and other databases.
- Assisting in the development of asset maintenance and renewal programs and contributing to Council's Asset Management and Road Management Plans.
- Providing support to Council staff regarding asset data collection, maintenance, and the use of databases.
- Assisting in the review of service authority and private contractor works to minimize impact on road infrastructure assets.
