**About the role**

We have a Permanent opportunity for a **Specialist - Contracts Administration **to provide expertise, supervision and support in contract administration in the role of Superintendent’s Representative on medium to large infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Manager - Contracts Administration, this role will facilitate the resolution of contract administration issues

**What the role will offer**
- Lead progress meetings with contractors and ensure that the Water Corporation’s OSH, environmental and quality policies and procedures are communicated, understood and followed
- Support Water Corporation personnel undertaking OSH, environmental and quality audits on projects within Project Management Business Unit
- Provide contract administration advice and support in the preparation of tender documents and support to Project Management Business Unit
- Support members of tender evaluation panels to analyse tenders for projects and make recommendations for awarding of contracts
- Prepare contractor performance reports on time, cost, quality, OSH and Environment to support the business in the selection and management of contractors and in the management of project risk
- Develop and maintain relationships with Contractors Representatives, Delivery Managers, Project Directors, Project Managers, Superintendents and Superintendent’s Representatives to efficiently deliver projects

**Key skills and experience**
- Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline such as engineering, construction law, quantity surveying, or contract administration experience in Superintendent’s Representative and/or the Superintendent role managing contractual responsibilities on infrastructure projects
- Experience in managing all contractual aspects of tendering, tender evaluation, negotiating and awarding of contracts
- Experience in preparing, negotiating and executing variations and extension of time claims
- Proven contract management experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects
- Experience of Contracts Management, Administration, and Financial Controls in civil, structural, mechanical and/or electrical works
- Well-developed relationship management, contract negotiation and influencing skills
