**Position Information**:
Greystanes High School (1100 students including 62% Language Background other than English) is a high performing comprehensive school that strives to support excellence in all areas of student endeavour, through a commitment to quality teaching and targeted welfare programs. **Selection Criteria**:
In addition to the general selection criteria,

1. Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate the school community in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high expectations through strategic, inclusive and collaborative leadership practices.

2. Exceptional organisational and administrative skills to ensure operational efficiency and effective whole school resource management.

3. Proven ability to strategically lead a teaching and learning portfolio by enhancing teacher pedagogy in alignment with best practice, resulting in improved student outcomes.

4. Expertise in whole-school planning, fostering effective teamwork and leveraging data to drive growth.

**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
