**Merchant Service Consultant **We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Business Banking team for a motivated and customer focused Merchant Service Consultant. As you will be working with Merchant services, delivering excellent customer experience to our existing Merchant customers is key. You will have a passion for providing superior levels of customer service and have a strong desire to be part of a successful, supportive, and fun team.

This role sits within a friendly contact center environment where we offer flexible arrangements, to work from home & the contact center in the Brisbane CBD.

This is a flexi part-time role offering 22.5 hours per week. To ensure our customers are provided the very best service, you will work within an accommodating roster that operates between 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

**What you’ll do:
- Respond to incoming calls from Business Banking customers regarding their Merchant Facility
- you will never be bored - each business is different, therefore each call is different
- Work to deliver exceptional customer experiences and ensure customer retention is maintained
- Complete follow-up tasks that require Outbound calls to our Merchant Business Banking customers
- Work within a quality driven and compliant environment
- Manage complaints within required timeframes, policy and procedures.
- Collaborate across channels to meet customer needs
- Contribute to a team culture that is balanced across people, customer, risk and performance
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures and external requirements, including legislative requirements

**What you’ll bring:
- Previous Banking customer service/sales experience
- Experience within a contact centre environment or an operational/support role would be desirable
- High level computer literacy and navigation skills
- Experience in delivering high quality customer experience within required timeframes
- Demonstrated ability to use customer and commercial acumen to enhance overall performance across people, customer and risk measures.
- Good problem solving and negotiation skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal)
- Self-motivated and enjoy contributing to a team environment
- Ability to work within a compliance environment
