As our
**Claims Service Officer **for our Perth based Self Insurance Workers Compensation Team.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Being our key point of contact with our Self-Insured portfolio and their program leads - ensuring strong relationships are established and maintained
- Delivering upon the timeframes and overall expectations of the program
- By supporting this program, you will work across a number of claims & will be accountable for the work undertaken in completing the claim reviews and in implementing the future case management strategies.
- This work will also require you to ensure the key stakeholders are kept informed as to the key strategic objectives pertinent to each claim
- Innovative thinking - generating ideas as to how we may be able to expand this program to ensure other aspects of “compensation risk” may be managed more effectively by our business.
- Contributing to the engagement levels of our teams by role modelling the appropriate behaviours and in participating and engaging others in business discussions.

**Important to your success**:

- Case management experience in Workers Compensation or a Personal Injury scheme.
- Experience in managing technical claims / situations in Workers Compensation.
- Knowledge of Self-Insured Workers Compensation legislation and regulations, including the management of compliance and fraud is desirable
- Understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to present to larger groups.
- Ability to build effective relationships internally and externally with clients, intermediaries and service providers.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing demands.
- Technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools.
