Reporting to the Head of Transactional Monitoring (TM ) Governance & Insights in this role you will lead and support the requirements for governance reporting & provide in depth and structured insights relating to Transactional Monitoring. Working with key internal stakeholders, including FCO Governance, Divisional Controls, Group Audit you will support the drive to improve governance processes and reporting within FCO.

**The role and day to day will include**:

- Lead the execution and delivery of TM Governance activities
- Contribute to ensuring operating rhythms are effective and support risk governance processes and execution for TM
- Facilitate the monitoring, tracking and reporting of performance metrics and reporting for all relevant risk forums
- Strategically work with Operations and Financial Crime Operations Governance across multiple risk mitigation initiatives
- Identification and timely escalation of risks and issues.
- Writing risk and governance papers for Executive leadership team and relevant risk forums

**What you will bring**:
You are a strategic thinker who is able to adapt to business needs, your willingness and capability to take a hands-on approach will support the outcomes for the team. You will have strong relationship management and influencing skills to impact process change discussions and governance. To be successful in this role you will also have:

- Risk Assessment and Governance: experience in providing risk governance processes
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior stakeholders to maximise relationships with key risk management and operational stakeholders at various levels
- Resilience: demonstrated ability to successfully operate under pressure.
- Problem solving: capability to break down the detail as well as manage and deliver competing tasks and deadlines
- Core Expertise within Transaction Monitoring is highly desirable
- Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel
- Legal background and/or relevant experience with the Regulators(AUSTRAC/APRA) desirable
