**The Role**:
As the General Manager - Sales, you will spearhead efforts to drive revenue growth and expand market presence across Australia. Reporting directly to the ANZ Managing Director, you will be entrusted to build and then lead the national sales team to new heights of success. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and fostering innovation to ensure continued growth and success in the competitive transportation landscape.

You recognise that growing the business involves creating the right strategy and then recruiting the right talent. You will work closely with the Executive team and ensure that your strategies and tactics align with the broader business goals.

**The Requirements**:

- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of local and interstate transportation services, focusing on courier, delivery, and distribution solutions, would be **advantageous but not essential**. Insights into industry trends and dynamics will drive strategic initiatives and market expansion efforts.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing sales strategies that achieve revenue targets and enhance market share is vital. The ability to analyse market data and identify growth opportunities will be crucial to success.
- Technology Proficiency: Utilisation of CRM software and sales management tools to optimise sales processes and enhance customer engagement is expected. Embracing technological innovations to drive efficiency in operations is highly valued.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail are necessary. Utilise sales performance metrics and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
