About the Position

The Works Maintenance Officer will provide high quality planning and delivery of road and footpath maintenance works assigned to Infrastructure Maintenance, from reactive and proactive inspections, in line with the Road Management Plan and asset maintenance standards and timeframe.

About You

**You will have**:
Relevant tertiary qualifications or diploma with demonstrated experience in delivering road and footpath maintenance works on time.

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage own workload.

Knowledge and experience of the requirements of the Road Management Act Associated Regulations & Codes of Practice, Road Management Plans.

Sound knowledge of OH&S requirements and traffic management principles as they relate to road and footpath maintenance works.

Demonstrated experience in contract management and administration.

Effective communications skills both oral and written, with excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills with staff, contractors, and local community.

Requirements of the position

A current driver’s licence;
Evidence of the right to work in Australia;
Satisfactory National Police Check; and

Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
