**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Director Commercial & Procurement, this role, as Head of Commercial for two Leidos business lines, will see you responsible for the commercial management and negotiation of several large and complex, new and existing, federal Government programs. In this position, which forms part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will liaise with Executives across the enterprise. You will also be responsible for managing a high performing commercial team.

**This role will see you;**
- Lead the Commercial management of large and complex Federal Government program and projects.
- Lead advanced contract negotiations, as required;
- Provide expert contract and commercial advice on prime and subcontracts;
- Developing, articulating and holding contracting positions based upon the contract terms;
- Develop contracting strategies including the development of methodology to reduce or mitigate program risk, increase cash flow and increase program profitability.
- Identify commercial and contractual issues or opportunities within contracts/subcontracts, and address them in a timely and effective manner.
- Support the program/s to maximise program revenue.
- Leadership of related commercial team.
- Significant stakeholder engagement.
- Actively support new business activities to ensure alignment with existing contract and commercial risk assessments for new business.

**Qualifications**:
**About You and What You'll Bring**

You bring extensive experience in similar commercial roles either;
- Administering, managing and leading commercial aspects of large Government contracts (ASDEFCON experience beneficial);
- Establishing and administering changes to complex contracts in a multi-disciplinary environment;
- Demonstrated experiencing in managing complex stakeholder engagements and effective relationship building
- High level of written and oral communication skills.
- Extensive experience in drafting, negotiation and review of complex contracts
- Team management
- Strong business acumen, analytical and problem solving skills.
